The following frames are compatible with Scumback Recone kits:
- For M75 type recones: Celestion G12M, G12-65, G12M Heritage & G12T-75
- For H75 type recones: Celestion G12H30, Vintage 30, Classic Lead 80, G12-80, G12H30 Heritage
- For Scumnico & S75 type recones: Celestion Blue & Gold frames, Vox Silver Alnico
I will not recone, or rebuild any Weber built, WGS built, or Eminence built speaker frames. Due to the different frames, spiders, cones and voice coils these speakers may use, I cannot stock all of the various parts to fit them which would negatively affect the tone of the speaker once rebuilt.
If you have a blue frame Scumback built by Weber, it is best to send it to Weber for reconing, or rebuilding. While I might be able to rebuild it, there are no guarantees due to the parts being changed without my consent or knowledge. You could send it here to have me check it, but it may not qualify. So you would do so at your own risk.
Recones have a 1 year warranty and are given FBI (full break in) service, except for the PVC recones which have no warranty and do not get FBI service.
