A close recreation of the the pre rola 35 oz magnet 55hz G12M Pulsonic paper voice coil style speakers used until 1971. This speaker's tone is woodier, with more upper mids than the M55, but less treble and more bass than the BlackBack BM55 models. Basically it's tone sits between those two models. 24 hour Factory Break In (FBI) is now included on all speakers sold.
The 20w speakers are built to the original 1967 Kraft paper voice coil (PVC) specs. If sent too much power, they can spark or catch on fire. Due to this possibility, they are sold without any warranty, liability or guarantee. Once you mount them, they are non-returnable, period, no exceptions. It is strongly recommended you buy four of these for a 50w amp, and eight for a 100w amp. While I have never had one spark or catch on fire since 2011, there is the potential it could happen.
The 65w PVC speakers are built with higher temperature nomex voice coils and have a 1 year warranty. There is hardly any difference between the 20w Kraft and 65w Nomex voice coil speaker tones, but some clients feel the 20w models have a tiny bit more bass response. The 65w speakers do not spark or catch on fire.
